Happy 4th!!

Hope everyone is having a great holiday. Here in Oakland we are just waking up, drinking coffee, watching the kitties run around, and thinking about the plan for the day. I'm cooking up a vegan BBQ feast!

And I have a lovely outfit ready to go that was styled by Lyddie of Chic on the Cheap. It's super cute - I will post pictures of it all tomorrow.

Here is yesterday's outfit, and item two of the summer remix challenge.
The Rachel Comey Skirt. I cannot tell you how much I love this skirt. I bought it last year at local shop- and have really only worn it with a white top and navy blazer for work. So I wanted to try something a little different.

The sunnies are the same ole' ones I'm wearing pretty much everyday. The top is from UO, which I believe I bought before starting freshman year of college. (eep!) The belt is Rachel Comey bought used! And, the shoes are vintage via Action is the Fruit on etsy.

I hope everyone has a blast today. Stay safe, and enjoy the friends, family and great food. This same sentiment goes out to all my overseas friends as well.
