The Beach at Carmel

Ahoy! Here are some photos from our little 4th of July trip.

What I'm wearing: Dear Creatures Sailor dress, vintage loafers, Cheap Monday sunglasses.

It's been a bit of a busy week catching up at work and getting back into a workout routine. I've just started a boot camp class that I love, but I feel that my days at the gym can be a bit bland. Ideally I'd love to get my fresh air and exercise in the outdoors - but that's not always possible.

What do you gals do to change up your workout routine?

  2. Honey, I've been running for years. It is more like jogging and absolutely HARD to begin with, but if you start slowly, be patient with yourself and then work up to a proper 15 min run after about a month it's worth it. You look gorgeous, and that yellow place is divine.

  3. Carmel is so beautiful! I hope you had a fun time there :)

I've been riding my bike around for exercise this past week - it's a lot more fun than going to the gym, so I can actually motivate myself to do it.

  4. oh that just looks heavenly! did you get to stay in that beach house there? can I move in please?? hello, dream life!

also I love that dress. so darling.

finally, I switch it up by actually working out :) been not doing that enough lately (other than the walking that is included in my commute), but wanna start. I like going for runs/walks on my lunch break or taking fun classes at my gym at work.

  7. This is sad. I don't workout on a regular basis. Shame, shame. I blame my laziness to buy running shoes. haha But if I really did own a pair, I would definitely go jogging a lot. I'm too uncoordinated to play a sport that has anything to do with a spherical object.

By the way, that sailor dress is soo adorable.

  9. That dress is perfect for you! I have been going to the gym nearly every day to ride the keiser bike and do more core/arm work. I twisted my knee and probably need a little surgery to repair it, so just going mellow on the weight bearing activities. I think the best thing to do outisde on a sunny day is to BICYCLE <3
