Castles, not made of sand...

June. How did it get to be June? The last time I wrote I was in the midst of a difficult semester and June was a distant page on the calendar. But, Here it is. I leave for Spain June 14th, and I'll be blogging about it here and on another (more professionally focused) blog that I will share with you once it's up. I do hope that your spring was amazing that that you had plenty of lemonade at your memorial day celebrations. Just to share a bit of what has gone on since the end of classes - Mario and I went to visit Hearst Castle in San Simeon. It was really spectacular. I don't think photos do it justice, but...

The last few photos are obligatory Instagram pics. I really will try to keep up blogging here, now that things are a bit more interesting. I promise you, hearing about all the reading and studying I had to do would have been just too boring. Plus, posting about wearing jeans and comfy 'study' clothes would have just got old.
