New.

P1060060

Last night was our wedding anniversary. I feel really lucky to have such an amazing person in my life. I don't want to get too hokey or mushy here. But I do have to say that I am really happy.

I took the photo of the glass above at the restaurant where we went to celebrate - Spettro. They have really great food and they make soy cheese and veggie substitutions - hurrah. It's a really homey little space with great brick walls and mood lighting.

I know I haven't been posting many outfit photos as of late. But I do have some planned. There has just been a lot happening as of late. One, I am going back to school - so it's been a lot of work dealing with getting the funds in place. It's tough!

And two, we just got word that we got an apartment that we recently looked at. So, we will be moving in January. And, I have such mixed feelings about it. I mean, I LOVE the space it's amazing - it feels like home - plus I'll have the wood floors I've been wishing for, for a long time. But, we'll be giving up our awesome Piedmont neighborhood - the bookstores, cafes, and the little grocery. That is sad. But this new place will be much more comfortable - and I could actually have dinner parties and a real closet. Plus it's cheaper. So, that's good- right?

So many new things. It's a bit overwhelming.

  1. tell me about it, I just wrapped up my semester and I'm fried! Just hang in there when you start, what's the worst that can happen? Youll end up with a degree!

I guess I'll be moving soon too to SF much sooner than anticipated, eeek!

  2. Happy Anniversary! It's nice to have someone that makes you want to get a little hokey and mushy from time to time :)

Change is hard no matter how exciting it is, and it does sound like you have a lot going on! Good luck getting ready for school and the move!

  3. Thanks ladies! I'am just feeling nervous.

@Eli- yes you're right -it's just hard thinking about the expenses -eegads! they don't make it easy for grad students. at least not for MBA students.

That is exciting that you're moving to SF - but as always moving is stressful. When you get here we should go get a coffee or tea somewheres.

@ Anne - : ) yes it is nice to have someone that you can get mushy about - just don't want to get too gushy on the blog and embarrass him.
