Knots and Bows

I came across this how-to for an knot tie up-do on Refinery 29. I'm hoping to try it out as soon as I gets me some bobby pins. You can read the step by step guide to try it out here.

I know I haven't been writing as much lately. I've been spending my time hanging out with Mario and friends, re-watching Twin Peaks, making Indian food, writing short stories and prepping for getting my Etsy shop up and running.

Stay tuned for that. I have a lot of goodies to list in the shop- vintage belts, scarves, sweaters, dresses, and tops.

Hope that you've all been well. I do miss you blog amigos - but I am actually having a good time taking a break from constant blogging. It may be a strange thing for a blogger to say to other bloggers and blog readers, but I highly recommend taking a short break from the interwebs every now and again.

Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere and I will keep on blogging - but for the next few weeks it may just be less than the usual.

  1. I'll have to try that updo, if my hair will stay in place.

  2. I saw that hair knot as well and immediately tried it, but it didn't stick without the Bobby pins, haha.
Cooking Indian food sounds hard, I'm definitely interested to hear how that went.

  3. I wish I had enough hair for this, it really does look quick and easy!

  4. The knot is deadly. Take a break, relax and we'll all be here when you get back :)

  5. I dont think anyone will hate you for taking a break! We all need one once in a while :)

I had indian food last night, I would loooove to learn how to cook some myself!

  6. I'm excited to see your etsy shop! It's quite fun photographing and listing things :)

I think we could all do with having a break from blogging, it's super stressful working full time/ blogging and still making time for friends and family. I feel like i've been neglecting my friends a bit so my new years resolution is supposed to be to spend more time with them and less time online xx
