Rainy days = rainy day style? Not for me, I love light layers and natural colors/tones. And apparently so don't these two Seattle based designers. Suzabelle and Prairie Underground. I am loving their color choices for many of their spring pieces. Tans, Ivory, muted blues, and greens, and yellow.
The best part for me is that at times I find it hard to determine what my style is. My closet is a bit at ends with itself - one part girly, one part (and I hate to use this word) edgy. Flowy dresses- sharp blazers, cute flats - heavy black boots. But, These two lines seems to encompass both those things- making it easier to fit them into my existing wardrobe. Better still they are both socially and environmentally responsible.
Here are some of my favorite pieces from the spring collection at Suzabelle:
And some of my favorites from the Prairie Underground collection for spring. I'm dying to find out where I can find those trousers!
I am glad that warmer weather is on it's way. Many people feel they have more style options in the colder weather, because of layering. But I feel just the opposite. I love simple pieces and light layers, a belt over a dress, a necklace over a simple tank, I love sundresses and hats and whites- I love wearing bright whites on hot days. I have three white dresses that I can't wait to wear again. I just need to pull them pull them out of the box of summer things. Hopefully I'll get to that this weekend!

I like your choices, especially the Suzabelle summer dress. I agree with you, Spring and Summer afford happier dressing.
