Portland Abridged

Seriously, I'm sorry for barraging you with vacation pics! But, for some on reason I feel compelled to foist it all upon the interwebs. This will be short I promise- just a few photos from Portland itself which was the destination at the heart of our trip.

Sadly, we didn't take too many pictures out and about in Portland as we spent our time walking around the pretty parks, getting lost at Powell's, and stuffing our selves silly on the delicious vegan foods. I'm kind of paying for that last one now, as for some reason so many places had vegan or gluten free foods, but no vegan and gluten free foods. I think what did me in was the Voodoo donut overload on the drive home. They were so delicious - but I had to work from home on Wednesday due to tummy troubles. *sigh* Oh yeah, this is why we mostly eat in and not in the world! I can't wait to get back into the swing of cooking meals at home. I did buy a cookbook at Powells and some new kitchen gadgets at a shop on NE 23rd? Now I'm all set to attempt to make the yummy gnocchi I had at Portabello, in my own lil' kitchen.

I will have some more style related posts soon I swear! Even one pretty awesome blogger related surprise I'm excited about!

  5. I'd definitely love to go to Portland, and the west coast - I've never been!
It looks so beautiful, and you don't need tons of photos as long as you have the great memories. (they are useful for their date stamps in a few years though when you need to settle an argument)
